Welcome to Town Medical Associates. We are a health organization with services offered in communities from Halifax to the Annapolis Valley.
Aside from conventional Family Medicine, our goal is to provide enhanced levels of care, maximizing technology to aid in your health care needs. Eventually, we hope to provide space and encourage itinerant allied-health professionals (such as massage therapists and acupuncturists) to join our team of professionals.
A centerpiece of our service is self-care. Our philosophy is deeply rooted in the notion that healing starts and arises from within. Although the associates at Town Medical will strive to provide the best healthcare to their patients, we will aggressively promote healthy-living options for patients and clients. In support of this, our practice will provide a complete patient interface with web services. Patients are able to book appointments online. They also have access to an enhanced web interface (myHealthNS) which allows patients to maintain a health profile and access their labs and xray reports online.
Most importantly, Town Medical will strive to respond to the needs and feedback of its patients. We welcome any suggestions you might have to improve our services to you.

If you have travelled outside of the Atlantic Bubble (or been in contact with someone who has been outside this area in the past two weeks) you should STAY AT HOME AND SELF-ISOLATE away from the public. If you have developed a fever, with a temperature 38°C or higher, and/or cough please call 811 for assessment. DO NOT come to the clinic as this will put other patients and medical staff at risk.

Our clinic is located centrally in South Bedford, at the intersection of Larry Uteck Blvd. and the Trans Canada Highway (Route 102).
We offer patients a comfortable waiting room with televised, family appropriate, entertainment while waiting to see your doctor.
We adhere to a strict “no scents” policy to respect the environmental sensitivities of other patients and staff. We also ask that patients not bring food or drink into the office.
